Well on the PC, if you (in general) are going to use a controller, you need something quicker and smoother and that would be a PC controller by Logitech with the Logitech Profiler software. Xpadder is a cheaper alternative, but it won't measure up overall to Profiler software by Logitech.

The only downfall is that their Profiler only works for their controllers, but for years, it has been better than the rest. The second closest software to map keys is Pinnacle. A 360 controller will probably be much slower here and I have tried it myself. I can't do much with it on the PC (I've seen video of someone playing with it on PC just fine though), but I prefer looser sticks that lets you move at the speed you need to because the 360 controllers don't have 'looseness' and flow to them.
