Here's the problem. W W Greener started making shotguns in 1829 and is still making them today. That's a lot of shotguns. You haven't given enough information to tell WHICH shotgun you have.

Let's start with your post. You said W.E. Greener's, but the company is W W Greener. What does your gun actually say? Next, does it say Birmington or Birmingham?

Because that matters. Greener was in Birmingham. You need to look on the underside of the barrels and on the flat of the receiver and find the proof marks. Then, you need to carefully describe, or provide a good photo of EVERY ONE of the proof marks and any other marks on the underside of the barrel and on the receiver flat.

And if there are any other small odd shaped marks on the gun, you get to describe THOSE too. Without that it's impossible to date the gun or identify the model. Measure the length of the barrels to the nearest quarter inch. Describe the trigger(s) describe any marks on the side of the receiver.

Here's the other problem. In 1876, the firm introduced the Treble Wedge-Fast Hammerless Gun, otherwise known as the 'Facile Princeps'. Greener company restarted production of Facile Princeps guns in 1998.

Last problem: There are a lot of Belgian copies of Grenner guns. Again, the proofs on the underside of the barrels will identify that. Take a look at this gunbroker auction for a upper-grade Greener wedge-fast from the 1880's. The description along the left-hand side of that auction is the MINIMUM that you need to describe the condition of the gun.

Finally, if you call W W Greener with the gun in front of you, or email them good quality photos of your gun, they will date it for you for free. There were a LOT of Belgian fakes. They have good records all the way back. Email and phone number at their web site: (Don't forget the time difference) Now, having done all of that, to tell you that there's no way to get you a value, the answer is, depending on what you have, and the condition, which you have not described, Greener shotguns sell for one thousand to fifty thousand dollars. So, it's probably worth your while to take the time to do the DETAILED work to identify the gun.

Hi there how much do u know about w.w. Greener I have one n don't know anything about. Will be appreciate W.

Mina: No need to apologize. I can probably help without the gun assembled.

Please remove the wood fore-end from the barrels by pushing the button at the front of the fore-end and lifting. That should reveal some additional markings. The frame watertable is the flat part of the frame forward of the standing breech (the tall part of the frame) where the barrels attach. There should be markings there including the serial number. Also include a photo of the sides of the wood stock and both sides and the top and bottom of the frame or receiver so I can see the type and quality of the engraving. From what I can see, you have a very nice shotgun and I wouldn't wish to undervalue it.

Mina; You have, what I believe, is a Jubiliee Model Grade DH35 ejector gun made in 1966 or 1967. Your shotgun is chambered for the 12 gauge 2 3/4' shell and both barrels have a bore diameter of 0.729' which is standard for a 12 gauge gun.

This shotgun was Nitro proved under the 1953 British Proof Laws. I believe that the trigger guard and the floor plate have been disassembled as evidenced by the slightly marred and misaligned screw slots. I was unable to locate recent sales of a similar shotgun, however, my guess is that retail value for a gun in the condition shown would range from $2500 to $3200 and possible more at a well attended auction featuring high grade double guns.
